Impact Methodology

ABC Impact measures and reports impact in a manner aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Evaluating social and environmental outcomes is integral to our investment process, applied from initial assessment through to exit.

Impact Assessment

With evidence-based research and data, we source and assess companies that provide products or services with clear and measurable environmental or social benefits. In due diligence, we evaluate and quantify the social and/or environmental impact that can be achieved through our investment, as well as analyse how the company manages ESG risks and opportunities.

Impact Management

Working with our partner companies, ABC Impact defines and agrees on impact targets and impact performance indicators that will be closely monitored during the lifecycle of our investment. We consolidate and analyse impact data to measure and report portfolio impact performance to our investors.

Our impact measurement methodology is structured around the Impact Frontiers framework, applied across the full investment lifecycle — from due diligence and deal assessment through to active portfolio management and exit. We evaluate and quantify potential impact at the point of investment, set targets with portfolio companies, and monitor outcomes on an ongoing basis.

Our impact measurement practices are independently verified by BlueMark, a specialist impact verification firm. Assessment was first conducted in 2022, with a subsequent re-verification completed in 2025.
